Tip of The Week

If you don't fancy commercial image editing software like Adobe Photoshop Elements, Microsoft Digital Image Suite and Jasc Paint Shop Pro, there a number of other options to consider. I've found a simple, hassle-free image editing program that's totally free - it's called PhotoFiltre.

PhotoFiltre is a surprisingly powerful photo editor. It has all the usual tools, including one-click auto exposure correction, brightness, contrast and saturation adjustments. You can sharpen and blur, add text, and paint directly on your images. Do check it out.

Cool Site of The Week

PBase.com
If you need a good photo sharing site, then PBase.com might be right up your alley. Unlike other photo sharing sites, PBase appeals to people that are serious about the craft of photography and want a forum to explore other people's art and share their own. I've seen some of the collections at this site and am amazed by the quality of the photos. It's definitely worth a visit.
